Privacy policy

Short version: the answers you type into the calculator stay in your browser. We do not receive them, store them or sell them.
This policy covers longevityreportcard.com (“the site”), operated by Longevityreportcard.com (“we”, “us”).
What we do not collect
- Your calculator answers. Age, sex, weight, health conditions, habits, test results and everything else you enter are processed on your own device. They are never sent to us.
- Your report card. It is built in your browser. Printing it or saving it as a PDF happens on your device.
- Accounts. There is no sign-up and no login.
What we may receive
- Suggestions you send. If you use a suggestion form, we receive the description and link you type, whether you ticked the financial-interest box, and the date. Do not include personal health details in a suggestion.
- Email address. If you subscribe to email updates, we receive your email address and send it to the email service that delivers them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Payments. If you buy a paid report, the payment is handled by a payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and your email address, not your card number.
- Messages. If you email us, we receive what you write.
- Basic server records. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site running and secure.
Other companies involved
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
- Hosting, email and payment providers process the information described above on our behalf.
- Links. The site links to studies, government pages and other websites. Their privacy practices are their own.
Advertising and sponsors
The site is supported by advertising and sponsorship. Paid placements are labelled and never change the calculator's numbers. If we add advertising or measurement tools that use cookies or similar technology, we will update this policy before they go live and describe your choices here.
How we use what we receive
To review suggestions, send the emails you asked for, deliver what you bought, answer your messages, and keep the site working and secure. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Suggestions and messages are kept while they are useful for running the site. Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
You can use the whole calculator without giving us any information. You can unsubscribe from email at any time. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email support@longevityreportcard.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law.
Children
The site is for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
